Jo Montgomerie
Jo Montgomerie is a musician, sound artist, photographer, producer and teacher based in Manchester. Her work is often concerned with discarded, or unwanted sonic elements, creating long-form drones and textures which invite a deeper engagement with the material.
Her sound forms of bloody-minded solo piano and crushing tonal pressure after a series of durational releases that have staked her on the map of uncompromising, contemporary noise.
